Established in October 2003 with funding from the Northwest Regional Development Agency (NWDA), we support Contact Centres in all industry sectors across England’s North West.
CallNorthWest (CNW) remains an independent industry support body, part financed by the NWDA and hosted by the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan). It's objective is to provide specialist support to it’s members and other North West organisations wishing to improve and grow their Call / Contact Centre.
Since October 2003 over 400 Contact Centres have utilised our services. Current Membership includes Contact Centres from the Public and Private Sector, from 10 seats to 1,200 seats, operating business hours Monday to Friday to 24/7, 365, from Crewe to Carlisle andNorth Wales to Yorkshire. Increasingly, organisations from other parts of the country are accessing the benefits of the CNW network.
CallNorthWest provides a unique network to give members many opportunities to network, promote best practice and gain in-depth knowledge within the Contact Centre sector in the North West.

Our aims are to:
- Support Contact Centre Managers in developing their knowledge and skills to improve performance
- To ensure Managers have access to information that supports decision making
- Share and promote developments in the sector that add value
- Provide Contact Centre specific accredited and CPD training for Agents, Team Leaders and Managers
- Improve the image of Contact Centres
- Establish better understanding and recognition of the value of Contact Centres to the regional and national economy
- Improve the delivery of Public Sector support to Contact Centres
- Provide a unique network to give members many opportunities to network, promote best practice and gain in-depth knowledge within the contact centre sector in the North West.
Through CallNorthWest’s forums, newsletters, website, events and advice, we ensure that Managers in the region's Contact Centres remain aware of developments within the sector that support improvements across a wide range of
Contact Centre issues from Call Handling Techniques, Management, HR, Training, Technology, Property and Location. |
