CallNorthWest would like to invite you to the first North West Contact Centre Forum of 2010. As always, the forum will begin with lunch, and an opportunity to network, and the forum will cover the impending changes to employment law and apprenticeships.
CallNorthWest are delighted to welcome back Fiona McKay of Seminars & Solutions, one of the UK’s leading speakers on employment law. Fiona will provide an overview of new legislation coming into effect on 6th April 2010. This includes the new right to request time off for training, transfer of maternity leave to fathers paternity provision and a synopsis of the Equality Bill and the most significant change in twenty years to temporary labour from the Agency Workers Directive.
Stephen Bailey, Employer Services Manager of the National Apprenticeship Services will provide an overview of the National Apprenticeship Service’s role in driving up demand for apprenticeships, locally, regionally and nationally and how the Apprenticeship Service can assist employers.
Christine Baggaley of Capita Business Services will provide a case study of their Apprenticeship Scheme, covering the recruitment, training, performance management and development of a young team of apprentices.
The round table discussions will provide the opportunity to network, share ideas and learn from your peers and
will focus on the feasibility of apprenticeship schemes, the benefits and affects on quality and attrition.
We are sure you will find many ideas you will be able to take back to the workplace and use so please ensure that your organisation is represented at the Forum. Places are limited so book your place today!
