2 Weeks to Enter! Nominations Close 31st May 2012, Midnight!
The awards are free to enter so there is nothing to stop you, except that experience tells us that the biggest barrier is organisations feeling that they are not good enough, we have yet to hear from anybody who wished they hadn't entered such is the buzz around this programme. So why not let us be the judge, even if your organisation is going through change you have individuals who despite everything are achiveing great things, this is your chance to recognise those deserving members of your team. So often the sector is portrayed in a negative manner and the awards have been successful over the past six years in addressing this imbalance by raising the profile, promoting a positive image and making thousands of contact centre staff proud to be part of a sector that is a significant employer with 5% of the working population in the North West working within them. We know that North West Contact Centres are achieving great things that deserve recognition. The awards are a fantastic opportunity to raise your own profile and show your staff, customers and community alike, that you are committed to achieving 'excellence'. Your staff will feel like stars throughout the process and particularly on the awards evening, where CallNorthWest like to make a fuss of all our deserved finalists! Aim: To highlight and reward ‘Excellence’ in North West Call and Contact Centres.

![]() How are the Awards Judged? The awards are judged in two phases. Phase one results in a shortlist of finalists, these are judged by an independent Contact Centre Forum. This phase of judging is based 100% on the written entry submitted. The shortlist for finalists will be announced at midday on 2nd July 2012 on the CallNorthWest website. The finalists will then be contacted and an appointment set for the second phase of judging. This will take place either at the finalist centre or at a central location and be at the mutual convenience of finalist and judges. The judges for phase two consist of a panel (usually 3) of Call and Contact Centre Professionals that have met the criteria for selection. The visit/meet will last one hour and each judge will score the centre/individual independently. Full guidance on how to prepare for the second phase will be provided to all short-listed individuals and companies. The second phase (visit/meet) will count for 70% of the overall mark with phase one counting for 30% of the overall mark. The winner will be determined by the centre/individual with the highest overall mark. The winners will be announced at the Gala Dinner on the 18th October 2012. The judges may also award highly commended awards to individuals and centres whom they felt deserve special recognition but who may not necesarily have achieved the best mark overall.
