Monday the 18th of August saw CallNorthWest announce this year's finalists for the 2008 North West Call & Contact Centre Awards. Across the 15 categories, 29 organisations have reached the final judging stage and will be present at the Black and White Ball, where the winners will be announced.
Many of the major Blue Chip organisations ranging from the Financial Services and Telecommunications to Outsourcers based in England's Northwest, have reached the final. Finalists include O2, Vodafone, LBM and HBOS. The Public Sector is also well represented with Liverpool Direct and Cheshire Police amongst those shortlisted.

Overview
Now in its 3rd year, the North West Call and Contact Centre Awards recognise those organisations and leaders who are 'achieving excellence' in their field. The awards programme is organised by CallNorthWest, the leading support organisation for the North West Call and Contact Centre industry, established in 2003. Part funded by the North West Regional Development Agency and hosted by UCLan, CallNorthWest was awarded cluster organisation status for North West Contact Centres in 2007.
